Terms

Updated October 28, 2026

These are the terms for using hummingbird.study and The 15-Minute AI Week. By creating an account or buying the course you agree to them.

1. What you get

The 15-Minute AI Week is a self-paced written course: 8 modules, 29 lessons, with downloadable files. Module 0 and Lesson 1.1 are free with an account. The full course is a one-time purchase ($20 CAD) that opens every lesson and file for as long as the course is online.

Your purchase is for you. It does not transfer to anyone else and it is not a subscription.

2. Your account

You sign in with an email link or a Google account. One person per account. Keep your sign-in email secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.

You must be at least 16 to create an account. We may close an account that shares access, copies the course for others, or interferes with the site.

3. Payment and refunds

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which sells the course as merchant of record. Their checkout terms apply to the payment itself, including taxes shown at checkout.

Refunds: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason, by replying to your Lemon Squeezy receipt email or writing to us. When a refund is issued, paid lessons lock again. Your progress is kept, so you can buy again later and carry on.

Discount codes apply only at checkout. Prices may change; a change never affects a purchase already made.

4. What the course is, and isn't

The course teaches habits for planning and studying with AI tools. It is self-paced and self-assessed. There is no exam, and the self-audit scores and the certificate of completion are records of what you did in the course, not a qualification, licence or grade.

We don't promise grades, jobs or any particular result. AI tools make mistakes; the course exists to help you catch them, and what you submit or send is your responsibility.

Your school, course or employer may limit AI use. Their rules win over anything in this course. Never put confidential, personal or exam material into an AI tool because a lesson suggests an exercise.

The AI tools the course refers to (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others) are separate products with their own terms. We don't control them, and their features and plans change.

5. Course content and files

The lessons, visuals, prompts and downloadable files are ours (or used with permission) and are for your own study. You may keep the files you download and use the prompts and templates in your own work, including at a job.

Please don't copy, resell, share or publish the course, in whole or in part, or use it to build a competing course. The sample files are fictional and labelled as samples.

6. Changes to the course or these terms

We update lessons and files over time, and may add or remove parts. If we ever retire the course, we'll give at least 30 days' notice by email so you can download what you want to keep.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; material changes are announced on the site or by email.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the course or the site is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be limited.

8. Law and contact

hummingbird.study is based in Ontario, Canada. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions and refund requests go to the support address below.
